For the past 20 years, Doe Parent and Children Center has served parents and at-risk children.

 

Its services are to provide, After-School tutorial and Summer Enrichment Reading & Mentoring progams, through a model curriculum that supports youth and parents around four essential components:

• leadership and life-skills training

• youth mentoring and entreprenurial programs

• healthy living

• community social action programs

 

The mental, physical and spiritual well-being of children have always been at the forefront of our purpose.

Through after-school tutoring sessions, summer enrichment reading programs and abuse awareness classes, Doe Parent and Children Center continues to serve countless children in grades K-6, in high-risk areas, who would otherwise be idle, intellectually unchallenged, unsafe and under fed, during the out-of-school summer months and after school hours.
